Im not an expert and I can’t get the AGC to work right :(
I am far from an expert in audio settings so consider me a very very very newbie :)

Could you tell me what you think of the sound of my stream? The station is a HOT AC and broadcast in DAB too. So trying to achieve a sound that is good online and decent when it gets reduced to a 32kbs AAC in dab. Thank you in advance for any suggestions

Do you have the Advanced Dynamics license? Or are you working from a standard processing license?

I ditched the AGC for the new Adaptive Compressor, and it's never sounded better. Enjoying a version of Adaptive Bass Monster right now. In recommend giving it a try.

Sorry, I don't have any real AGC advice. They increased the bands from 2 to 4 on the AGC a while back as well, in an attempt to offer a more Arianne sound, but I could never get it to behave like I wanted it to either.

I have an FM standards with advanced dynamics. The reason I was pushing AGC is because I got some voicetracks from presenters that record remotely and sometimes the volume coming is very low, so I was trying to level up everything. Not being an expert doesn't help lol
I am also facing every 6-8 hours the sound to become terrible for like 3-4 minutes (almost like chopped sound) before goes back to normal by itself. I can't pinpoint the issue, the only thing i notice is that the input buffer usage is constantly at max and i don't know if it's normal.

I don't know how to help you with the potential buffer overrun aside from increasing the delay on the output to hopefully keep it steadier.

However, for leveling quiet and loud content without normalizing the files themselves first (possible with Thimeo WatchCat) I highly recommend checking out the newer "Adaptive" presets that use the new adaptive compressor (various Adaptive Bass Monster flavors, or others). It works better than the AGC ever has.

edit: Also, currently in beta is an R128 realtime normalizer for HD and FM. This might help you as well.

edit 2: Oh, since you have Advanced Dynamics, you can use the Speech Detector mode to affect the sound while it thinks it's getting spoken words without music. I think.
