The MacOS version is still completely broken and unuseable with blank black screens for both VST and VST3. This is from the currently posted 10.51 version on the site. The last working version for Mac seems to be 9.22 from 2.5 years ago, 2022/10/22.

Has there been an update on this? It seems like no one here uses Mac.

Following up again because 5 months later, the mac version is still completely broke, and still stuck at 10.51, when the Windows one is at 10.71.

Again, the Mac version is indeed working for most people. It's not working for you because of the VST host you use.

The STANDALONE is the native Mac version, and when you say the "Mac version doesn't work," this is what people assume you mean. Instead, what you actually mean is the PLUGIN won't work on your specific host (presumably Adobe Audition) on MacOS. That's very different.

What version number of Adobe Audition for MacOS are you using? Like, the version number. Find the Help/About info within the app to find out.

Apologies, I'm so used to using it as a VST that it's just my default to go and forget this has a native app as well.

It's an Intel Mac, Adobe Audition 2025 aka version 25.x.x The point and minor version updates don't matter as this problem has been going on for a long time and it's persisted through multiple of them.

Thank you for that info. I'll forward this to the person in charge of the app/plugin development, Tom. He's currently hard at work on other features, but maybe he'll be able to get this figured out relatively soon. (ah he knows, it's in the TODOs listed on the beta pages)

It should also be noted that according to the latest betas disclaimer, the "macOS version does not have a valid code signature and might not work if you don't have internet access. Our old signing certificate expired and the new one doesn't work. No Mac versions will be released until this issue is solved."

So in light of this, it may not be able to be released once the MacOS Adobe Audition 25 issue is solved due to signature restrictions.

That's all I know about this atm.
