Stereo Tool

Not sure if to post here or in the bug section, but it seems like the Declipper that's part of Stereo Tool actually does a worse job at declipping than the old Perfect Declipper 3. Look at the images below. PD allows for more customization of how to declip as well. Stereo Tool's Declipper is very limited for options.

Now, I don't know this for a fact, but I was under the impression the declipper algorithm hasn't changed in a long time. There are however tweaks to the settings that can make it do more or less.

You say there are more settings available in the standalone PD than there are for the Declipper in ST? I don't think this is accurate. What version of ST are you using? If version 10, try expanding the cells with the > icon. You will uncover a lot more settings.

Unfortunately Stereo Tool has been broke for MacOS for about 2 years so I'm unable to.

In versions prior to 10, there was what was called an Operation Mode. I don't remember exactly where the setting is, but you would want to enable Extreme Tweaker mode to expose all the settings.

What host and host version are you using? I believe that is a factor.
