Hi,

I am able to encode audio using the streamers in 10.50, but only MP3 so it would seem.

I get an error about libshout if I try to use AAC.

Is this expected behaviour or am I doing something wrong?

Thank you

Hi. Are you still working with Linux? Or is this in Windows?

Streaming output 1: Error starting: This libshout doesn't support the requested option. Streaming output 2: Error starting: This libshout doesn't support the requested option.

The strange thing is, streaming output 1 is working fine with MP3 320K. It's just streaming output 2 which seems to have an issue running AAC. Same thing happened when I originally tried to get it going on streaming output 2.

We will look into this. It's added to the todo list for the next release. (We have not yet tested it on our end). What works on the 1st output should also work on the 2nd - it's the same library, so this is definitely strange.

Thanks Hans!

I also wonder if it is possible to obtain track data for these streamers via a URL? It's not clear if the track data can only be obtained from a local directory/network file share at this time. If URL sources are not currently supported, I would be grateful if this could be considered for future implementation!
