One thing is certain - NABShow is a very prestigious event and it's attended by many broadcast professionals, so the costs of a booth are at least partly compensated by increased sales. |

More photos! We are introducing our new µMPX codec this year, which allows you to send MPX over IP, not (as in currently existing products) at 2-4 Mbit/s, but at 320 kbit/s!!! As you can see in these photos, there are other booths (Telos Alliance / Omnia, Nautel, Moseley) that are showing this as well!

So the new MPX product preserves loudness and peak control while reducing the bitrate to 320 kbps. Does it support the composite clipper found in Stereo Tool and Omnia.9? I think that the codec can finally make MPX over satellite viable. |

Answer is Yes, it just encodes the existing MPX signal (with or without clipping) and sends it to the other end and rebuilds it to the original MPX again.
