There were a lot of spammers on the forum in the last few days. I've just changed the sign-up procedure, hope it helps... |

Just a small update: some spam is still showing up but so far all those spammers signed up to the forum before I made the changes. |

Btw what do these people try to achieve with this spam that looks like a real answer, e.g.: Thank you for your informative explanation! I mean if they would give some links to other sites or advertise a product I would understand it, but I really don't get what they're on about.

No idea. Either they try to post some fouter (I think I have disabled that in the forum settings so it won't show up) or a link in their profile for link popularity. |

And now again  You could have me as a moderator since I visit here many times per day, so I could wipe these as soon as they appear (well, every 4-6 hours, some nights too)
