Post subject: | Some Questions - Winamp DSP MPX License |
Not sure if this is the correct subforum to ask, but a lot of search words cannot be used, nor did google help, even when searching this forum. So before going on with Stereo Tool, here are some questions: 1: The winamp DSP only works (MPX output) when you press play? 2: When you get a registration key can you enter this both in the DSP and Standalone version or only one at the time? 3: How can you transfer your Registered Stereo Tool to a new computer with better hardware for future versions? 4: Does Stereo Tool work "out of the box" with an ESI - Juli@ card? 5: Is there a way to upgrade from 7.03 to 7.24 without having the previous owner's email address? |

1. Yes. - When you press stop, no mpx.2: When you get a registration key can you enter this both in the DSP and Standalone version or only one at the time? 3: How can you transfer your Registered Stereo Tool to a new computer with better hardware for future versions? 4: Does Stereo Tool work "out of the box" with an ESI - Juli@ card? 5: Is there a way to upgrade from 7.03 to 7.24 without having the previous owner's email address? 2. Yes, in both, currently. 3. Easy. Just enter serial on new one. Also remove all stereo tool files from old system you can find. (exe, dll, ini..) 4. Sure. Works with any soundcard. Depend for what you need. For MPX Juli@ is great choice. 5. Serial will still work. |

Thanks for the answers! It's all working. Only for the last one: Q: 5: Is there a way to upgrade from 7.03 to 7.24 without having the previous owner's email address? A: 5. Serial will still work. How can i upgrade to FM composite clipper from a computer where Stereo Tool is installed. I only have the computer, i am borrowing the computer and i want to update it. Or do i have to ask the owner to email me the key and then you guys update it? |

I have another question but don't want to spam the forum. When you open Bojcha B-Town 4 (HvZ mod) in 7.03 it works nicely. I have adjusted the Multiband settings and made a new preset. I adjusted some other settings as well. When opening preset Bojcha B-Town 4 (HvZ mod) or my own in 7.24 i think most settings are opened, but the Multiband settings are not. (It's not even enabled in this preset anymore). Is there a way to get the Multiband settings working in 7.24? |

The license will work; you can mail me so I can change the mail address here (and then if I want to mail an update I can reach you). There's a new multiband compressor that wasn't there yet in version 7.03, and it sounds a lot better (especially in version 7.30 that I'll release very soon now - maybe tomorrow). The old one is still accessable for 'legacy' presets, is't called Classic Multiband and visible as selection under the new MB. |

Some extra spam for hvz as webmaster: Don't forget to update your website. It's now 9 bands instead of 10, correct? Anyways, it's truly amazing how well this software is working. Very good job! |
