Hello,
I´m running a Digigram PCX 822 in my computer, until last week it ran perfectly.
Now (i don´t know what has changed) i´m not able to set the FM- Output.
When i select my soundcard output, the program tries to communicate with a sample rate of 176.000, i have set the sample rate to 44.1kHz. When i set it to 48kHz, it ries to communicate with 192.000.
I tried to reinstall stereo tool and have reinstalled the Soundcard drivers.
Does anyone have an idea what can be the reason for this?
ST version is 7.31.
Thank you,
Regards,
Robert

That's normal if you're not using ASIO. It needs to use this high sample rates to be able to transmit the stereo and RDS information.
Can you tell me what is going wrong - and what happened before?

Hello,
The Program says "Cannot open output (2 channels, 16 bits/sample, sample rate 176400: 20)" The sample rate is set to 44.1kHz. I only assume that this is the reason it don´t work.
Until last week it worked perfect.
I don´t know what has changed...
Encode stereo and RDS is off.
I don´t know what i can do. Regardless with or without ASIO, same problem.

That error message (I get it too on Win7, not on XP, for some reason Win7 doesn't support simultaneous sound card input and output on some sound cards) is only shown in non-ASIO mode! So, you didn't enable ASIO properly if you get this message.

How to enable ASIO:
- Select the ASIO sound card
- For each input and output where you want to use ASIO, select the input or output channel numbers!
