My night mode stereo tool setting, very constant output volume but expect little distortions.
I usually used this setting to watch films contain AC3 audio which has wide dynamic level of sound.
Disable your sound card equalizer first.

I think you're both right. My speaker's treble reproduction is quite bad. Especially without EQ on.
Well, no tweeter. Only 2 speakers and 1 sub.

But at least my main goal was achieved, very constant output volume level.
Any suggestion for use with better equipment? Lower the treble setting?

...or the Sony MDR-V6 / MDR-7506 / MDR-7509HD

What I'm personally using now, I use due to the comfort, which is the Bose AE2.

A good pair of speakers (ideally flat response without subwoofer), it is always best to give the final touch. Mainly in the bass. ;)
