hello guys,

I can not explain this.

http://www.esi-audio.com/products/julia/

* 2 analog input channels, two analog output channels
* 24-bit/192kHz AD converter with 114 dB (A) dynamic range
* 24-bit/192kHz DA converter with 112dB (a) dynamic range
* Taking swap (TRS Unbalanced RCA with-10dBV or +4 dBu balanced)
* S / PDIF coaxial digital input
* Synchronization S / PDIF digital input signals
* Optical S / PDIF Digital Auto Shutter (max.96kHz)
* Coaxial S / PDIF Digital output (max. 192 kHz)
* Support for DirectWIRE 3.0
* 4 inputs and 4 outputs can be used with 24bit/192kHz simultaneously (incl. MIDI I / O) - full duplex
* PCI card compatible with 3.3V and 5V PCI slots
* Control independent monitoring for signals of analog and digital input and playback
* EWDM driver: MME, DirectSound, ASIO 2.0 and GSIF 2.0 support
* Windows compatible 98SE/ME/XP/2000/Vista/7
* Compatible with Mac OS X 10.1 and later
* Compatible with Linux (ALSA)

configuration StereoTool

ALL ASIO

INPUT - JULIA 1.2 (ASIO 1-2) ANALOG INPUT
PROCESSED OUTPUT - JULIA 3.4 (ASIO 3-4) COAX OUT
FM OUTPUT - JULIA 1.2 (ASIO1, 2) ANALOG OUT

PS panel esi julia signal is present (in-out coax)

Edcast

INPUT - JULIA 3.4 (Vmeter still, no signal)

connecting coax out coax input into, because Edcast does not see the input signal?

Output != input! You're sending the output to OUTPUT ch 3+4 but in EdCast reading from INPUT ch 3+4. Can be fixed using DirectWire. There, I think you need to connect the outputs to the inputs.

thanks Hans,

of course I connected the output 3.4 at 3.4, I tried with direct ware without success, but try again later, I found another problem.

I was able to bring up the signal of Edcast, but the strange thing is that the mp3 encoder of Edcast runs to 450 Kbit instead of 192 kbit and the audio output was very slow (see photo). http://imgur.com/u9cwD

a hypothesis, Edcast (encoders) does not support inputs to 192 kHz?

what do you think?
