Post subject:  Balanced Modulators

Some transmitters have a "balanced modulator" after the audio input.

If you try coming out of the sound card of a PC with a "encoded stereo baseband" into a balanced modulator, you will most likely experience poor audio coming out of the transmitter.

A modification of the circuit, is required to inject the baseband past the balanced modulator.
The modification for this would depend upon the circuit -- as there are many different ones.

Balanced modulators are usually found on stereo transmitters and not on mono transmitters.

Just thought I'd share this with you -- in case you are experiencing this scenario.
