Hi guys...first post here. I'm using Winamp with the shoutcast dsp encoder for a streaming station. OK...when I select Stereo Tool in the DSP plugins, Shoutcast turns off. How can I get around that, to have both on? Seems like a tried something called the "dsp stacker" a few years ago to do this. Can't remember now. Any help would be great. Thanks. Ok....I got it. The DSP Stacker works, but not with Shoutcast! When trying that Winamp closes! It will work though with Sams Encoder, or Edcast! Thanks. |

Hi, I recommend you to use Standalone version of StereoTool, EdCast and Virtual Audio Cable. Edcast is free and Virtual Audio Cable(s) unfortunately not. If you stream mp3 or AAC or both, in EdCast you can easily change lame or aac codec, which is not case in shoutcast dsp encoder. Latest EdCast: http://users.tpg.com.au/radiorio/ Virtual Audio Cable: http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.htm Setup: Winamp output VAC1 > ST input VAC1 > ST Output VAC2 > EdCast Input VAC2 If you need to hear music while playing try Multiple output plugin, where you'll select your soundcard (for listen) and VAC1 (for sending to StereoTool) |

Maybe you could use no23live? You can use VST plugins with it. Supports WMA or Shoutcast by using dsp_sc.dll It's freeware, and it's in German language. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/No23Live |

Hi I use DSP Stacker and have done for 3 years now and now with stereo tool / shoutcast plugin also the winamp line80 plugin.....fantastic.... |
