| Post subject: | News Anchor Voice Preset |
Hello everyone! I’m looking for a voice preset suitable for a radio news anchor. The current list includes solid options like ‘Broadcast Voice’ and ‘Bright Male Voice,’ but they tend to emphasize the low frequencies, resulting in a heavy-sounding voice. To achieve a more natural tone, an additional equalizer should be applied before using Stereo Tool. Please create a voice-focused preset with a target output level of ≈ −11 to −13 LUFS. The voice should be well-compressed, comfortable for extended listening, and have pleasantly sparkling high frequencies. |

First, dont use EQ before ST, everything you can do in ST. Just be sure to have super clean input into ST. True, most presets will boost bass on voice. However you can use "speech detection" to set bass band (B1) to follow next band as much as you want/need, mid-bass. That way, music, if you still have it, will not suffer from lack of lows. Again its important for input to be clean and L/R balance to be as much as possible perfect, so speech detection can do it's job. |

Thank you very much for the information. I am using Stereo Tool as a plugin within my audio editor. I have adjusted the settings in “Speech Detection,” but unfortunately that did not resolve the issue. It would be ideal to have a ready-made, perfectly tuned preset in which all frequencies are balanced specifically for speech processing. I believe that a preset of this kind would be highly valuable and in great demand among many users. |
