Post subject: | Livewire HD output and sound card buffer problem |
Hi Configuration: Windows 11 Pro, ST 10.41, LiveWire. I have a problem with HD output in ST. The sound card is LiveWire and I have problems with sound quality, i.e. the sound is distorted. A message appears in ST: Sound card buffer problem - HD Output. The HD Output card buffer id deviating too much from taget level. This is typically caused bu differences in exact clock speed between sound cards, and can cause audio dropouts. I turned on option : auto-restart on buffer issues. It helped, it's better, but there are still some problems. What else can be done? Regards |

Regards First, on the Axia IP Driver panel, set "audio level - nominal level of PC" to -20 dBFS (slider at the bottom left). Second, now check if it's still distorted. If the distortion is gone, adjust the input level in Stereo Tool to about -6 dB. Third, get a master clock if you want everything to sound OK (if you don't use an axia mixer or axia node) |

Hi
In the xnode panel, in the mixer section, the Vmeters shouldn't be red.Re 1. The audio level on the Axia Panel was set to -20. Re 2. The input level is set to 0dB. Re 3. I have an Axia node. The distortions have not disappeared. What else can I do? It would help to understand your audio chain... e.g. Broadcast PC with Axia Driver? Mixer? Stereo Tool Input, Livewire? etc. |
