My station plays '70s and '80s pop music - Radio's Classic Hits!

My goal is to give the sweetness of '80s FM with fewer artifacts. Full, over-exaggerated bass/treble for cheap Bluetooth speakers, terrible earbuds, laptop speakers, and noisy car environments. I do not expect people to listen on nice equipment.

The LUFS varies - depending on the density of the original mastering of the recording. It could be as dense as -8 or as open as -11.

Why do I use the title, Breakin' all the rules, for this post? The AGC timing is completely whacky (too fast attack, too slow release), I'm using the new Adaptive compressor in MB1 while still using old-style peak limiting in MB2, there are too many bands, and a myriad of other shenanigans. It's a kooky setting...

exquisite choice of music
the audio is not bad, i could hear the quiet portion well (it has some dynamics), i cant really tell whats wrong since im listening to this on a $2 headphones lol, but it doesn't suck like most cheapo headphones.

compared to my stream, my stream is slightly more dense. I didn't enable agc because i need more dynamics for both onion and fm listeners and i never run into inconsistent audio problem on my budget fm receiver. Maybe you might on xhdata (which is mid-range), depends on the built-in amplifier on receivers i guess. I feel like my fm receiver compresses dynamics of my station. When i listen on my phone fm tuner using headphones, the quiet portions are notable, close to the onion (web) stream.

i should buy more receivers to test out.
