Hi! I need some insight on how ratio changes in multibands, wondered if you guys could help me out in understanding it. A) Is it like in the picture, that it goes linearly between first value - 2:1 - and second - 12:1 - from 0dB of compression to -6dB? ![]() B) OR - is "Max ratio at" value tied to compressor Treshold in Levels? Bumping the thread because I'm still scratching my head. In both of the cases below (max ratio at 0db, and max ratio at -24db), the compressor doesn't move. Wondering why? Is the amount of ratio a linear change from 1:1 to INF (or whichever I set), that scales with the "max ratio at point"? In this case what is it pointing to? Because the signal is clearly there (a very loud track playing) The progressive mode works and starts reducing volume. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
