Hi again! It would be nice to have Opus support in the streaming output section of Stereo Tool. Opus is similar to, but a more efficient codec than Ogg that is gaining popularity with broadcasters, so it would help to future proof this part of the software. I know that streaming output perhaps isn't the primary concern but I do think this would be a fairly simple tweak that would improve the software - plus Opus is, like Ogg, not a codec that would cause licensing issues.

I support this proposal! Please include Opus support since it is quite straightforward to implement and is a licence free codec. If not internally, then support it via libVLC? |
