Hi

Does registering stereotool give you a lifetime license or does it have to be re-purchased at a later date?

The reason I ask this is because we are interested in purchasing a copy for our station.

Cheers Russell

Hi Russell,

It's a lifetime thing (you paid for it, so it's yours!), which will also work on future Stereo Tool versions. (So people who bought a license for version 3.00 can still use it for the current version, and use all the features in it).

The small print: It is possible that at some point in the future features might be added that aren't covered by the currently available licenses. I don't have any plans for such options, it has never happened in the history of Stereo Tool, and all the current features will keep working in future versions with the current licenses. [Examples: A scheduler that enables choosing different processing settings during different times of the day, although I might just as well add that for free at some point. Or the possibility to broadcast TMC (traffic) information for navigation systems via RDS, which would include a method to feed this TMC data into Stereo Tool - that would be a lot of work to make and would only be used by a very small number of people.]
