I have a friend works at computer firm. He CONFIRM to me that intel is a SLOW motion SNAIL !
So i3 (2 CORES) to be better than 6 core CPU is the most stupid thuing i`ve ever heard !

P.s: Excuse me but the intel socket with these electrical buds is a fuc*ing incredible DUMB connection that Intel can ever provide.
I`m familiar with the electrics , so don`t tell me i must have this type of socket ... please.
Well - do some testing :) See for yourself - I had both platforms ;) BTW - I have a friend ho has an elephant, you know :>

Jokes aside - of course - raw performance as a whole - of FX6300 is far better than i3. But the single core - ah - here we go :) Since for ST single core performance is more than important - this is why I said that - someone is better off i3 than FX4100/4300 (ST wise and TDP wise too)

Like i edited in previous post , i have :

Also i put my old stock cooler from the 240e (45W) to the new 4300 , and have no problem let`s say on 75% load (tested!) Than i change it with a little bit old one from sempron 2800+ . Believe me it can handle all the 4300 load . This is tested too. Not more than 60 degree .
Now with the Arctic Cooling 64 pro rev2 , this 4300 is 54 degree at most. without load is 37.

These temperatures are fine :) What is the limit for FX4300? For FX6300/FX8320 it hapenned to be 65 degrees. And then the buzzers go off.

Limit for 4300 is 70 degrees. This is from official AMD information. But with 54 degrees for continious 100% load (with program HeavyLoad), is a perfect preformance . The interesting thing is that if i touch the cooler in this time - i feel it much cool than 54 - may be like 49-50. I don`t know - just tell you what the program reports - and it`s 54.

I want 4300 for so long time . And finally i have it .So i enjoy it ATM.
But i love my 240e - it`s the coolest cpu i`ve seen. it has a stock cooler that deserves a very loud laughing. :)
This si the one i`m teling you

Aliminium part is 27 mm height only ! hahaha And it has a square solid AL part at the middle of all cooler. Other part is seen on picture. Like empty space :)

This may be caused by 3 factors:

1 - the cooler is very efficient and dissipates heat quickly (this is what we want ;))
2 - thermal paste is not very good at heat-conduction (in that case you can always replace it for a better one)
3 - the thermal material under the heatspreder of the CPU itself is of low quality (no easy fix for that, no matter whether it is soldered or TIM is used as in Haswell - BTW it's a known problem in Haswell CPU's).

Also - in the future you may want to try a tower cooler, like this one: http://www.pctechreview.com.pl/wp-conte ... lera-9.jpg

Not all of them are expensive.

Well, my Intel 35W beast:

this comes with 35w Intels:

And this is exactly what I've got. It's quiet though. Fits every mini-itx case. Temps on the CPU max 60 C.

But I think this thread was about newest beta version :P

Your machine is a branded one. What is it ? HP , or DELL?

Yeah, for new betas , but no new betas :)

I've never bought a branded machine - all assembled by me ;) All parts purchased separately.
