Would it be trivial/reasonable to include an intensity fader on each MB? Why? I find myself using parallel compression with my MB2 completely nullified. This way as I slide the slider right, I decrease the intensity of the MB1. Depending on my mood, I choose somewhere between the two extremes for comfort. Low volume, high compression for sleeping, and vice versa while I'm active and enjoying audio. Is there a better/recommended way to achieve this? A slider for intensity for each MB (or heck, every module) would be highly appreciated. I even find myself using Speech Detection just to fade down the True Bass 25% when I lie down (easier than tweaking both TB sliders and SBB). But such algorithm-less control doesn't seem like it should be a premium feature to me -- not talking about the sibilance or mono detection algos; those are justifiably premium. |

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. For MB1 vs MB2 in parallel mode, there is that now. So I assume you're not asking for that since it exists... But what else do you mean by intensity slider? What should it do? I get the bass thing. So I can see why you would want a slider that does just that instead of abusing speech detection. But I don't think that just that is what you mean either.... |

Ah, so by intensity slider, I mean something that can reduce the "power" of the module's effects to essentially nullify them to whatever extent desired, without disabling them entirely. But what else do you mean by intensity slider? You may indeed understand. They would be akin to the slider for True Bass effects in Speech Detection, except it could be found on the True Bass page itself. There could be one for MB1 without needing to abuse parallel compression like I am. Or on some of the other processing modules AGC, Bass Clipper, Stereo effects, etc. I was thinking about something like this a while back, but I haven't thought about it again until yesterday. Maybe I should think it out more. |

I'm still looking for the User login/logoff button in the interface. Where has it gone? ![]() |

Quote: Latest version - Beta 10.42-044 (Dec 7 2024)
Changes/bugfixes Added more streaming outputs; now up to 8 separate streams can be encoded simultaneously. Also moved to a separate page. Unfortunately streams 2 to 8 do not have metadata such as title - artist information and you can not set this anywhere. For me it would be sufficient if the metadata of stream 1 could be copied exactly to streams 2 to 8 (so separate metadata per stream is not necessary). Is it possible for this to be added? |

An interesting discovery that someone else made was apparently, some (free) hosts put their own name in the stream and ONLY support the "song" field - so if you send data via Artist and Title, they just ignore it and only put in their own name. Are you using Artist and Title with such a provider? If we can confirm that this happens on more streaming hosts, I can add a checkbox to auto-fill "Song" based on the Artist/Title data and basically always send both. |

Hi, you can set up user accounts under "Configuration" (the clog wheel icon). After doing that, when you open the software you'll end up on a login page.![]() The login from version 9.92 and earlier has been removed because it wasn't safe enough. So the new login system has been completely rewritten from scratch. |

Apologies, the problem appears to be with the streaming hoster. The Galio streaming platform from E Power does not seem to support title-artist information. Changing the settings to "Fetch song from file" solved the problem. Perhaps in the future you can build in an option that allows you to set separate metadata per stream? |

Will be in the next build (next year). |

I'm using the latest BETA of the libStereoTool AMD64 in LiquidSoap. I've turned on FM in StereoTools and µMPX. The problem: The output of the plugin back into LiquidSoap is not de-emphased. I have too much treble. Is there any way to set this correct (I can't find anything on the GUI) or can the output of the libStereoTool be HD while providing µMPX? Best regards, Christian |
