In the Wes's presets (Cerulean and Mousse) I see that the "Maximum Asymetry" goes up to 100%, that's ok? In the others presets only goes up to 30%.
It's OK, but it doesn't technically have any effect past about 30%. Since it is only an improvement, with no downsides I can see, it is set to 100% in case future algorithms allow even more gains.
Don't! Some receivers have a problem with this, it will cause reception issues. Values upto about 30% seem to be safe, above that is not. Default is 10% to stay on the safe side.
Whoops. Never seen it on any receivers I've listened to (quite a few now). But you heard the man. Adjust as you see fit.

Streaming works pretty well with MP3. Seems that when something is typed to the boxes that contribute to the stream settings, Normal output breaks for a moment. I'm not monitoring MPX with my test setup.

Might not be necessary to even ask, but I hope that Opus gets added to the list of supported codecs :)

Hans

Input still flashing red. I don't understand what you mean by 2 inputs? And explain why it was created after beta 009.

2 inputs is input 1 + input 2 (SCA input). You can combine them (for example if you have 2 studio's where one of the two always sends silence).

I don't see it flashing red unless there's actually a problem (input level reaches 0 dB). The difference between pre-beta009 and later is that it now looks at oversampled input, so it will detect more overshoots than before. But I think that that's a good thing.

Ok but what happens? I was testing with that one and didn't see or hear anything weird. Is it audio? Is it GUI? What's happening?

The GUI stops sound continues. And if you close ST and start again with Cerulean after the GUI stops I get a white screen
