Quote: Quote: Installed 8.01 BETA 006 on my PC. No crashes on startup.
Fixed!First I had no sound when ST was enabled, only when set in Bypass. I had to set "Send to Winamp" to "De-emphasized version of FM output" before the sound did go through to my speakers. FM Output is Off. Quote: CPU usage on my system is about 40%, equal on both cores. I have a Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU G540 @ 2.50GHz on this system, so a rather slow CPU.
Is this different from before? Note: CPU affinity doesn't work yet in the new design, so you could be getting somewhat different spread over cores - the total CPU load should be roughly the same as before though.Frank |

Hi Hans, I have ST 8.01-BETA 007 running on my production server now. It is a VPS with a 6 cores XEON E5-2650 v2 @ 2.6GHz. ST 8.01 BETA 007 takes about 14% CPU time. ST 8.0 takes about 13% with the same settings, so about 1% less. It varies between 0.5% and 1.2% less (including the playout software itself in both cases, which takes about 0.5 to 1.2% of the CPU) Frank |

The best there is IMHO and I can say that I tested nearly every radio automation system that exists. Check it out at https://www.mairlist.com/en/ . Torben, the developer of mAirList, also gives excellent support. |

The last beta does not work with the vst plugin in audacity on windows. you can open the plugin itself, but if you want to play something the whole application crashs without any exception. in the last beta you publish i can process some audio, but only the first time correctly. you can only hear changes on the UI, if you do the following: start audacity, Open a music file, open stereotool, load you preset an change anything. now you can directly hear what you change. if the music file ends and you play it again, then the sound is like the last change in the plugin. if you change anything nothing seems to be happen on the output. in the UI you can see the changes (for example the diffence in the wave form). this also occurs to other sound files. it only works the first time you open audacity and play the first music in live mode. other VST plugins does not have this problem in audacity. |

The Delossifier was a bottleneck for multicore-processing - should be fixed now. Windows 32 bit: Windows stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 01-008.exe Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 01-008.exe Windows VST 32 bit: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 01-008.dll Known issues: - Low Quality Low Latency monitoring (stand alone version) is disabled for now - Generic plug-in (not posted) FM output to host doesn't work. - Memory leaks on close |

Can you check if the memory usage of the process exceeds 2 MB? There is a weird compiler bug that causes memory loss on close, I need to find a way around it.
