Did you found the reason why Pre-emphasis still enabled in Normal output, when FM output is disabled ?
That's actually a wrong design from the early days of Stereo Tool when it was only a Winamp plugin. I should probably change the behavior...
Yes, will be good to change it , because ST is not only Winamp plugin from a long time ago :) and stand alone needs to operate properly when FM output is OFF.

beta 001 and 008 are not good with buffers/sync or something there. I updated from 7.73

edit:
When sync is ON or AUTO, it seems buffer is not full on soundcard restart or program start. it drops till it's synced (since i use somewhat 0.06% relative adjust). 008 is even worse.

I'll compare the two versions to see what I did. I've also been trying to repair another (alternative) framework that used to work but seems to be broken in the last few versions (probably since 7.60); this might have had some unwanted side effects.

Hey guys,

I just want to tell you that from yesterday i have a FX-4300 Vishera 4 core beast :)
Happy with that - double more cores now. I only wonder how it`s possible the stock cooler to handle this ? It`s like my stock cooler for the old dual core Athlon II 240e . Anyone can answer ? If i close the case , the temperature goes to over 50 deg. I stop the "turbo core" and let the case open for now. It gets about 40 deg.

A few of these look pretty good under $20 USD. http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/cpu-coole ... =a6&page=1 Like that Cooler Master Hyper T2, which dips to around $12 right now, usually around $15.

50C isn't that hot either by the way. :)

Yeah, my i7-4790K with NH-D15 goes exactly to 50 celcius when on full load and I think it's fantastic!

Turns out that the speed of a Pi 2 is only about 2-2.5% of that of my laptop :( which means that we can't do much with it.

But, we can do some light processing on it. More info tomorrow!
ODROID-C1+ has more power than Pi 2.

ODROID-XU4 is a Samsung Exynos5 Octa, which you probably should be using for this.
That 1st one is probably not much faster - it has a higher clock speed, but the A5 doesn't support NEON, which will cause a considerable (tens of %) performance drop.

That 2nd one sounds very promising though - too bad it has a fan :(
