Weird, is the Hard Limit in 64bit version broken or what? My meters were red literally all the time even though the Hard Limit was enabled.. installed 32bit and ran, no problem there.

Edit: 028 is the version.

Perhaps a mistake in the new "spectrum" part.

If you increase the number of bands to 9, and then answer the question always with Yes, then the band frequencies change, but the value under Target -> Levels does not change. For the new bands, the default is 0. If the 4th volume is odd to -8 db, no matter how many times you click to set it to the default value. Are these default values so wanted? This only applies to the first 5 bands.

True, for other numbers of bands the settings are not automatically correct. Basically, you need to make sure that for the average music that you play, all the meters are in the center. Those higher bands at 8192 will really screw up the sound. Thresholds need to be adjusted.

When can we license this, Hans?

Ok, all right! But that's why I'm testing it! How many bands would you recommend for the standard application?

ST Dest: FM Output
Profile Use: Talkback and Music

Comments:
Just adding in some new profile settings for ST 841B028 for some feedback.

There was some big changes to Coastal Dreams last year and a few people have asked for the old sound back that originated from version 7.84. So I am going to call the original sound 'Classic Coastal Dreams' with some bass enhancements. The classic was built for a FM station with several hours of talk back and it needed a lift with the voice. I've tamned this a little but still kept some of the voice punch in this version.

Additionally, this latest Classic Coastal Dreams takes advantage of the Experimental AGC2 and Spectrum enhancements in the latest beta.

Feedback most welcome.

Just spun up the stand alone 64 bit version and loaded up the new coastal dreams config. Now have lots of red errors on input and output, that was not in the winamp version. Thoughts?

Has anyone here already found sensible settings for the new Spectrum filter? I've been playing around a bit, but you have to be very careful with the settings. From my point of view it would be optimal if one could make the situation somewhat more dependent. If, for example, a speaker or a moderator speaks in the middle of a song, then this sounds totally funny at many settings. Since the spectrum completely melts. Has anyone had similar experiences? Machine learning would be really cool here, if the spectrum would be optimized on the basis of experiences, and the different situations would be better recognized. This may be a future vision, but it would be cool.
