Hey Hans,

8.01 BETA006 Winamp Plugin,

On mode, no audio output, even after a Factory Reset. All visual appears to be OK.
Bypass mode, has unprocessed audio.

Aussie.

Beta 006 quick test - loading Aussie Coastal Dreams (and a few others I tested) gave an exception. Restarting seemed to give another.

It seems a bit odd because audio locks up when you get the message but you can get it back by changing the preset to something else. Maybe something preset specific?

Edit: This is on Win 7 32 bit (SA).
Fixed!

Aussie.
Cause found, the "Send to Winamp" setting is used even if FM is disabled. Fixing it now.

Edit: Fixed.

Now it works fine, no crash :)
but post amplifier not works and levels goes very high.
I can't reproduce this here - Post Amp works with all the settings that I've tested so far. I'm probably missing a case (I did rewrite all the Post Amp code so it's very likely that something is broken). Can you send me your settings?

Installed 8.01 BETA 006 on my PC. No crashes on startup.

First I had no sound when ST was enabled, only when set in Bypass. I had to set "Send to Winamp" to "De-emphasized version of FM output" before the sound did go through to my speakers.
FM Output is Off.
Fixed!

CPU usage on my system is about 40%, equal on both cores. I have a Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU G540 @ 2.50GHz on this system, so a rather slow CPU.
Is this different from before? Note: CPU affinity doesn't work yet in the new design, so you could be getting somewhat different spread over cores - the total CPU load should be roughly the same as before though.

Here is the STS file. Caught crash error with this.

I did notice that if you preset with Aussie - Alpine Dreams, no crash, but no sound either..

Fixed a few more bugs. The new "Threads" slider under CPU & Latency should basically work now! If you have a slow CPU with more than 2 cores, this might help...

Windows 32 bit:
Windows stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 01-007.exe
Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 01-007.exe
Windows VST 32 bit: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 01-007.dll

Known issues:
- Low Quality Low Latency monitoring (stand alone version) is disabled for now
- Generic plug-in (not posted) FM output to host doesn't work.
- Memory leaks on close

Hans,

TST8.01BETA007

Single core rotations is working a treat. The resource starving to TST when running with Teamviewer stop and it runs sweetly.

The result photos on CPU talk for themselves.

sound 8.01 really MUCH better, threads working nicely on q6600 quad Windows X, couldn't test Linux yet

Wow, go Hans, this is a huge improvement on the lower end CPUs with SingleCoreRotations and Threads. A game changer!

Now successfully have Aussie - Coastal Dreams running at 100% CPU setting, just have to enable Ignore High Freqs.

Everything is running, All Repair items, Stokkemask is running & can even do the RF spec calculations.
