Sample A appeared slightly louder to me, B - cleaner - also A had some weird L-R noise. While testing with 071 I didn't like the sound with asymmetry allowed.

B is really louder. What do you hear when you enable it in 071?

I didn't measure loudness, I just told how I felt it (and I'm sure of this one, especially about the noise in the beginning of the sample A). When I enable asymmetry in ST, I have a feeling it's slightly more dirty at times. But to confirm that I'd have to perform some multiple A/B/X tests and I don't really have time for that now, it might very well be it's also preset dependent.

I'll have to do more tests to make sure, I would absolutely expect far less dirtyness with this enabled.

I did notice a weird bug - if you see jumps in the spectrum around the pilot something is wrong. Haven't had time yet to try to figure out what's happening. This doesn't seem to depend on the Asymmetry setting though.

What is the "DB style" in the AGC? Are there some docs on that? Is it new?
