Hanz, can you add host independent sample rate in VST version of stereo tool?

ST crashes immediately after enabling ST 8.01 BETA 005

See attached image file.

I use the Winamp DSP version on Windows 7 - 64 bit with AIMP player V4.02 Build 1725.

Ah, but this time with a message! And one that indicates an alignment issue, which is what I thought I had fixed.. will look into it asap, new version coming tonight.

Edit: I'm not 100% sure that I found it, but I definitely found something that can cause this error (for some reason my debugger refused to link the address to a line of code). Building again, I hope this fixes it...

I found 2 possible causes of crashes, both are fixed now.

Windows 32 bit:
Windows stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 01-006.exe
Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 01-006.exe
Windows VST 32 bit: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 01-006.dll

Known issues:
- Low Quality Low Latency monitoring (stand alone version) is disabled for now
- Generic plug-in (not posted) FM output to host doesn't work.
- Memory leaks on close

Installed 8.01 BETA 006 on my PC. No crashes on startup.

First I had no sound when ST was enabled, only when set in Bypass. I had to set "Send to Winamp" to "De-emphasized version of FM output" before the sound did go through to my speakers.
FM Output is Off.

CPU usage on my system is about 40%, equal on both cores. I have a Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU G540 @ 2.50GHz on this system, so a rather slow CPU.

Eveything seems to work OK so far. Will do some more testing and keep you posted.

Beta 006 quick test - loading Aussie Coastal Dreams (and a few others I tested) gave an exception. Restarting seemed to give another.

It seems a bit odd because audio locks up when you get the message but you can get it back by changing the preset to something else. Maybe something preset specific?

Edit: This is on Win 7 32 bit (SA).
