@DJ_DOGGY: Your preset has Hard Limit disabled, and it needs that to work. If you enable Hard Limit it works. Edit: I'm disabling the slider now in that situation. |

Got it . Yes i try and it works with hard limit. Thanks for the info.
Edit: I'm disabling the slider now in that situation. |

Might be good idea to bit improve that "Hard Limit" if possible. Maybe similar thing like new limiters in compressors ? |

Hm, you might be right. Will add it to the todo list. It was never intended to work for bigger spikes (only what's left after clipping), but an improvement here would probably also improve the final MPX signal. Very very very slightly probably, but still.

Hey, Hans On the Final Limiter When Using C-QUAM AM Stereo the C-QUAM Becomes Hard Itself (i.e.g. C-QUAM Limiter -> Hard When Hard Limit ON). Question Would there Be Away to Keep the Both C-QUAM and AM Asymmetric Limiting "Soft" While Using the Final Hard Limiter? (i.e.g. C-QUAM/AM Asymmetric Limiters = Soft -> Final Limiter = Hard) |

What do you mean by soft??? |

Soft Is that It Does Not Jump Up and Down So Much I Think Is More of a Mid/Side Problem I'm Not to Sure. But It Happens When Both AM C-Quam and Final Limiter Is Enabled. |

Is here any ... like lowpass filter , but for the MPX signal . SOmething like 64000 Hz lowpas . Last active signal is at 59 let`s say 60 Khz . SO 64000 is OK. Or may be something like "Ignore freqs above" but for whole composite ? . This definitely will decrease the CPU load. Let`s say Ignore above 64000 and slider to be upto 96000 ?Is it a good idea ? |

At 176.4kHz should be less cpu usage. |

What Bojcha means is in order to construct the analog 75Khz Mpx signal (analog wave form) you have to generate at least 2 samples (digital sample rate) and this is a rock minimum.Or may be something like "Ignore freqs above" but for whole composite ? . This definitely will decrease the CPU load. Let`s say Ignore above 64000 and slider to be upto 96000 ?Is it a good idea ? So minimal digital sample rate has to be 2 x 75 = 150Khz, but in real life this 150Khz is actualy to less, in order te have a reasonable MPX construction a minimum of 176.4 is advised. at 192Khz sample rate you get a better and more detailed construction of the 75Khz Mpx signal. |
