Hi to the group... I think i found a bug... when pnr is on decliper goes crazy....more photos in a bit..
Confirmed. The Declipper assumes that it's the first filter in the chain - which is no longer the case. Will look into this.

By the way, in some cases PNR must be done before declipping (if there's a hum in the studio and you play music which is already clipped, you need to remove the hum before declipping). In other cases PNR must be done afterwards - if the total signal (including the sounds that are restored by PNR) was clipped. I will make this switchable.

When Multiband selected , all other menus on the left are gone/disappear . Now i must press "Processing" to turn them on screen.
Was not like that
There's an extra selection and hence no room anymore to show the full list with Multiband open...... :(

Understand.
What about the Coupling everytime different % . Is it a bug or ?
Just set a couple of times from 100 to 0 from main MB window slider and every time see the matrix - there are different % on some sliders (most of down-right side)

With the PNR and Delossifier filter, the list of filters under Processing is getting quite big. I think I should split it into 2 sections: Restoration and Processing. Restoration would then contain PNR, Declipper, Delossifier, Noise Removal and MAYBE Natural Dynamics (one could argue that it's part of processing as well).

Advantages:
- Less long list to look at.
- Possibility to save Restoration and Processing sections separately.

Might do that tomorrow...

Haven't seen that yet... for lines for which Auto is enabled, they are updated when you change Band Coupling, Low Freedom, High Freedom or the number of bands.

Note: If you're not playing audio, the update will occur when the first bit of audio gets processed.

Bands with Auto disabled should never be automatically updated.

No, i mean on every 0% there are different % of matrix especislly down-right side. Is this normal?

main slider ->Put it to 100% , then put to 0% -> look at matrix and remember one slider on down right side.
Again go to main band coupling slider and put it to 100% , then to 0% -> look at matrix again and you wil see that this slider is different % then before.
May be i`m not explaining it right ?

This is with default settings . Auto ON, norm ON but greyed.

Windows 32 bit:
Windows stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 52-006.exe
Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 52-006.exe

CHANGES:
- ABDP: Added new "Sloppy" slider. Effect: Slightly louder, 0.5 dB more highs! And probably less pumping due to highs. (*)
- Band coupling settings don't work if Band Coupling slider in main Multiband window is set to 0%.
- Declipper result is very bad if PNR is used before it. NOT SURE YET IF IT'S REALLY FIXED.
- PNR can also be done AFTER declipping.

(*) Normally, to reduce pumping-like effects, you had to increase the Dirty Bass, Mids and Highs values. The problem with that is that you get more harmonics distortion. This new slider only affects the sound AFTER it has been processed in ABDP - which means that you basically only get distortion between bands, which is far less annoying and noticeable.

TODO:
- Split filters in Restoration / Processing, and make them saveable separately.
- At Band Coupling '0' the values in the GUI aren't recalculated properly.
- Default value for Sloppy was 0% (-99 dB), should be 100%.

- Bad gap in ABDP - causes highs to sound less full. Fix ASAP! Only in Composite mode! Temporary workaround: Enable 'Also low freqs' in the composite clipper settings, then the problem is gone!
- Make Restore and Processing settings savable separately.

PREVIOUS:
- Display FM lowpass frequency at bottom when FM output is used.
- Show warning when PNR is disabled due to changed settings.
- Added Multiband compressor Band Coupling matrix. You can use this to overrule the standard band coupling settings. Only available in Extreme Tweaker mode, awaiting responses to see how useful it it (if it is useful I'll move it to Expert mode).
- Advanced Clipper: Advanced Bass Distortion Protection (ABDP): Drop in output when strongly clipping around 2600-4000 Hz is reduced.
- Advanced Clipper: ABDP: "Smooth Slide" slider added to make transition between deep bass (clipped) and less deep bass smoother. There used to be a drop upto the 2nd configured bass frequency, with this switch enabled the drop is smoothed (maximum at 1st configured bass freq, gone at 2nd). Result: Warmer, more open, less 'restrained' sound. But probably also a bit more intermodulation distortion. (which might be fixable by changing the frequencies a bit). (*)

- Added PNR Noise & Hum
- PNR analysis data is saved now

Nop its the same again.. The bug is still there

Edit : Hans i can see that this version will have a "more general" improvement. So a wish of mine is a modulation percentage monitor for AM. One that will show the amount of negative and positive peaks (like the fm one but in staid of l/r it will show neg and pos modulation/peaks .

May i ask for .51 beta 14 (all available compiled versions) , because they are not exist now. Are they deleted forever ?

Edit : I have the Stand Alone . Are there other versions compiled ?
I`m asking not for other reason but because this was the last build with old compiler.

I think I still have it somewhere - there's just not enough room on the server to keep all the beta's forever. Why do you want to have it?
