Hm the idea is that analog mode sounds better than digital. If that's not the case... something is wrong I think.

Note: I'm in Cleveland now, so slow to respond.

I have built and uploaded a release version 8.10.

I kinda rushed it at the end, wanted to get this out of the way before going to the US. However, since I'm not really available to do something if any bugs are found, I've for now uploaded them using different file names, so most people will still see the old versions. If no bugs are reported within 1-2 days, I will upload the normal versions as well.

I have not yet included any new presets, but I expect a new version soon afterwards.

Note:
- The Linux 64 bit version is not yet built
- The Mac versions are not yet built

To get these versions, add _810 to the links (before the .exe for files that end at .exe, or .dll for .dll). So,

Hi Hans, I get an exception seeing as I the preset Jeroen platenkamp-Sublime 80 's FM use.

dsp version:
  1. crash on 1st start, 2nd was ok
  2. GUI: the small processing time box is always showing 50% usage; on the CPU & latency page correct values are shown though
  3. GUI: in extreme mode for post-AGC & SB compressors the start ratio box starts on the right edge of the GUI but ends on the left, i.e. you see a part of the box above the peak meters
Threads is set to 1 by default on the CPU & latency page. Is this correct/intentional?

Hm sounds like it's good that I didn't do a real release yet... :(

That crash for Jeroen's preset: Reproduced here. Cause is very simple (I removed the End Ratio and Feedback^2 settings, but it looks like this preset still tries to set those).

DSP version crash on first start: That's a scary one, do you have more info? Address? Exact message?

Small processing box: Oops, I overlooked that one... I don't have the 'total' GUI measurement anymore (although I might be able to add it again, note to self: modify_samples1).

Start ratio: Must be related to removing End Ratio and Feedback^2.


So I would like to get more info about that DSP version crash, the other things are easy to fix.

Ok clear about Jeroen's preset.

I use DSP version to and I have no problems with "crash on first start"

Windows 7 64 bit

Using the Stereo Tool 8.01 right now and for me it works great, btw how can i enable the feedback mode which is tackled in the past topics?

Those new modes didn't get finished on this go around. Hans didn't want people to begin creating presets based on a feature that is still subject to change.
