Yup. Turns out that all the whole processing threads in 8.12 are NOT running at an elevated priority! Ok, updated now. I/O and gathering of data after processing is finished now runs at priority 2. Processing runs at priority 1. GUI runs at -1. Everything else runs at priority 0. Note: Actual ASIO I/O runs at a much higher priority (15 or even higher, depending on the ASIO driver). 1 and 2 appear to be enough though (I used 1 in 8.00 and before). In version 8.00, I/O and processing both ran at priority 1. But the changes in the framework (there was no separate gathering thread for example, and processing would never run simultaneously with I/O) there was no need for separate priorities for I/O and processing, there is now though. |

Hans, are you going to update 8.12 or just add these fixes to the next beta? |

Does that reproduce when you start it again? If so, can you send me your settings?

I unchecked LQ output and ticked it back on, seems the problem is solved. Strange, seems to run ok now. [edit] it's LQ output that cause the exception |
