Hans , I got an idea about This Vlevel in foture versions . You may intergrate it (replace) the single band/limiter in "limiting and loudness" panel . Why ? Because If you use multiband at low speeds , the effect is that the sound is balanced by bands (10 bands) , so there is balance between low`s mid`s and high`s ..... this is very good . So this plugin may replace the single band to make the level of balanced song to 0db (depend on song that plays at the moment ) . I mean that this plugin may work after multiband like the single band is doing now , but with Vlevel method of work. That is good too, because the AGC You rewrite in version 5 still there and the plugin I present to you is in Stereotool too. You may set a "checkbox" like in multiband for the equalizer ( if you like before it , or if you like after it ) this is great. I think the version with this structure will be the best choice ! What do you thing .... in future ? why not in version ....let`s say 5.01 ![]() |

I was just adding a preset that I received by PM from Luke (thanks!), when I found an important bug. If AZIMUTH is used, and the sliders in 'Stereo Image' are not in their default positions, the processing is a LOT (30-50%) slower. (I noticed this when comparing Luke's preset file with the preset that I programmed in Stereo Tool). The output was also slightly different. Changes: - See above: Fixed - Fixed a minor issue: When switching between preset categories, sometimes the presets pulldown menu become unresponsive. - Changed version number from 5.00ß to 5.00! Marino, can you check if this version is ok (doesn't crash in your StationPlaylist setup)? Thanks... (Uploaded as "BETA" again) |

Eh, wave display very slow? Never noticed that - and it shouldn't be affected by this either? (It's done in a separate thread). Anyway if it's good now I don't even want to know Now works good again. ![]() |

Thanks Hans! Works like a charm here Changes: - See above: Fixed - Fixed a minor issue: When switching between preset categories, sometimes the presets pulldown menu become unresponsive. - Changed version number from 5.00ß to 5.00! Hi Bojcha,---- I avoid saying anything about the one visual bug i notice erlier, but here it is.. if main window is minimized .. for some period .. and if you restore it .. Main window is streched (width) Does someone saw this happen ? Does this happen always or sometimes? How far is it stretched? Is the "some period" of relevance? (So it doesn't happen if you restore it immediately?) And of course: Which OS do you use? I'm going to release now anyway... |

well.. i am don't know what cause this.. main windows is streched in width from 640px to 790px, mostly when minimized and i play with other windows .. then later when i restore ST main window, it's widther. Not happen always and not when it's restored immediately. And i think it happens when is 'start in trey' is ON. happens on my, stream and transmitter PC. i'm always using WinXP Pro sp2/3 Anyway .. when I find what is the real cause, i'll post. |

Lol and oops. I also found another small yet annoying bug: If 'startup minimized' is turned on and I load Stereo Tool, the window flashes on screen very briefly. That's not that bad, but if a PC is really loaded it means that a redraw of all the windows will be performed, which can be quite a burden. I have fixed it now, I'll just have to check if the performance isn't affected (I expect not) and then I'll release it. It's now - yet again - uploaded as BETA. Marino, I'm afraid to ask.... ![]() Bojcha: How big is your screen size? (Is 790 pixels full-screen, eg. 800x600 or so?). I'll try to reproduce it here as well. Those other windows, are those Stereo Tool windows or windows from other programs? |
