I do like it, but I'm in agreement on the AGC. In fact, I begged for that years ago. I would be happy with just an AGC window, but I will certainly take it in both places. :D

Thanks Hans.

Forgive me if this is a duplicate.

Using Bob Hawkins' Loud n Clear preset with custom tweaks suggested by Bob, my "mod mon" (actually an INOmini sitestreamer) tells me our OTA signal is now 5% louder with the ST beta than with the previous version.

The high end sounds a bit harsh to me.

It sounds shrill.

I may have to amend my statement about re: high end shrillness. Most of my off-air monitoring is via the web (SiteStreamer) as our little peashooter LPFM doesn't reach me in most places. However, an A-B comparison today noted much, much less shrillness directly off-air as compared to the SiteStreamer (128K stream).

Now I may have to totally withdraw my original statement. I just realized that my Site Streamer, instead of monitoring off-air, was inadvertently set to studio audio (unprocessed, except for the SiteStreamer). FM off air monitoring notes no shrillness (but no increase in signal density either).

This version is an under-the-hood redesign. No new features. Do not use except for testing!

Windows 32 bit:
Windows stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 01-002.exe
Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 01-002.exe
Windows VST 32 bit: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 01-002.dll

To be able to support new things in the future, I had to redesign my whole scheduling mechanism. That took several weeks, and I think it's more or less finished now. I might have missed things, so that's why I'm posting this here. Again, at this point do not use this except for testing!

I'm posting this to get feedback, based on my tests from yesterday it appears to work as it should, but I could very well be missing certain configurations.

Known issues:
- Low Quality Low Latency monitoring (stand alone version) is disabled for now
- Generic plug-in (not posted) FM output to host doesn't work.

Stand Alone on Win 7 x64 crashes for me.

Comes up on load and then a second later I get "Stereo Tools has stopped working. Windows is checking" etc.

C.
