RDS & PILOT volume? best level? On what it influences?

Ow... I guess I still need to write that then... It's going to change anyway (and the page itself contains some explanations.) But, if your transmitter and sound card are of good quality, you shouldn't really need it anyway...

best and default level is what you see on that picture. Pilot: 9.00% (6.80kHz) RDS: 4.50% (3.40kHz) OverDrive: 100% Keep composite MPX signal... : Yes, Always If you use rds, i recommend that you put a RDS Station PI Code. What code? - you ask Tell me Name of your country, how many main transmitters your have, your station is local, national, regional ... |

My Country is Ukraine, we have one main transmiter-101.4FM, station is regional/ radius 90 kilometers |

You can increase FM Overdrive to about 105% for a bit of extra loudness (105% would give you about +0.5 dB). Except for that, I agree with Bojcha. (Note to Bojcha: FM Overdrive does not affect the stereo pilot or the RDS signal. So it is safe to use - it's a bit smarter than a simple composite limiter. It has far less effect on the sound than increasing the Loudness slider. But it does take a lot of extra processing power.) |

hi Boris, PI Code for you is 60xx it started with 60 (that is for Ukraine - Coverage:Local), second two digits are your wish. It must be hex. so, something like this 60FF When you set it, stick to it, unless you change numer of main transmitters, Country or coverage area. note: Because you have one main transmitter, you can delete any alternative Frequencies. otherwise your radio can force some recivers to search and again found same frequencie, and make some reciver to drop audio. |

What problems do you have? For buffer size: Smaller means less latency, but if your PC isn't fast enough you'll get dropouts. If that happens, increase the buffer size. (Or get a faster pc  )Besides this, you can also change the configuration of the Juli@ card itself. See the Juli@ manual - increasing the size of ASIO slices (I don't remember the correct name right now) might also help - but will also (slightly) increase the latency. |
