Hi Hans, I'm having the same problem. I tried to download the VST linked above but keep getting a Forbidden error 403. Thanks |

Ah, sorry, there was a problem with the site last week (it was moved to a different server and DLL downloads were disabled). It was fixed a few days ago, so the downloads should work fine again. I really should update the Declipper plugin on the declipper site too though. |

Will the latest release (v8.31) now work as a VST in Breakaway One or do we need to stick with the '300' version? If so, will 300 be updated with the latest improvements to declipper, delossifier etc? Thanks ![]() |

Ow! I forgot something. I made a fix for this but the VST plugin doesn't know that you want to run it as a service... so it never installs that fix.
Hello,You need to create a file in C:\ProgramData . This file must have the name of the VST, but with .ini as extention instead of .dll. So usually this would be vst_perfect_declipper.ini or vst_perfect_declipper_64.ini. In that file, you put 1 line that tells it where the normal settings file is stored: Code: UserPath=C:\Users\<username>\vst_perfect_declipper.ini(or declipper_64.ini) Replace <username> by the user name under which you originally installed it. So in my case it says: Code: UserPath=C:\Users\hvz\vst_perfect_declipper.ini What about in winXP 32bit version? I can't register in service mode. Thank you. Best. |

Hello,
Ooh... XP. I don't really know where it stores its settings, but you can check by opening a DOS box and typing:What about in winXP 32bit version? I can't register in service mode. Thank you. echo %PROGRAMDATA% echo %USERPROFILE% The output on a newer system is: C:\ProgramData C:\Users\username So check what it is on XP and change what's described above to the outputs that you get. I'm pretty sure that the 2nd one is C:\Documents and Settings\<username> |
