Hi there.
Really enjoying this amazing tool I purchased a couple of months ago. I'm using it in a DAW, Magix Sequoia v17, for post production.
I have an issue where Stereo Tool maxes out a CPU core and temporarily freezes Sequoia, but it's under a very specific scenario. I've done quite a bit of troubleshooting and these are my findings that are reproducible 100% of the time.
1. Only happens when I have enabled Sequoia to use a hardware controller, which is connected via midi. Disabling the hardware controller in Sequoia settings removes the issue.
2. With any of the following actions in Sequoia with a project that includes Stereo Tool instance(s), a single CPU core is at maxed at 100% and the Sequoia application temporarily freezes
- open project
- switch to opened project tab
- undo
- redo
- insert a new instance of Stereo Tool in the project
3. Duration is about 2 seconds per VST2 instance. So if in the Sequoia project I have one instance of Stereo Tool, freezes are about 2 sec long. If I have 5 instances, freezes are 10 sec long.
4. Core that is maxed at 100% is always the same as the Stereo Tool
GUI Thread CPU core.
5. It also happens (but for about 1 sec per instance) with Perfect Declipper.
6. The issue happens whether the Stereo Tool window is open or not.
7. I know of no other VST plugin in my folder that causes this.
Again, just want to reiterate that it only happens when I have a midi hardware controller enabled in Sequoia.
System notes:
Windows 10 22H2 64 bit
Sequoia Pro 17 64 bit
Stereo Tool beta 10.42-034 VST2 and VST3 64 bit
Midi interface for hardware controller is Roland UM ONE
Piriform Speccy system hardware report as text file is here.

I would really love to be able to use my hardware controller in Sequoia whilst along with Stereo Tool. But this issue is a real workflow killer, especially using undo/redo.
Thanks for any advice.
